STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. General

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all sales of products by Detuned Coffee, operated by Individual Entrepreneur Konstantin Zachetov (“Seller”, “we”), to customers (“Buyer”, “you”).

By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms.

2. Products

We produce and sell freshly roasted whole bean coffee.

  • All coffee is roasted on demand or shortly before dispatch
  • Each package includes a roast date
  • Coffee is a perishable product, and its characteristics change over time

Flavor profiles and tasting notes:

  • are provided for guidance only
  • are subjective
  • may vary depending on brewing method, water, equipment, and personal perception

We reserve the right to update or discontinue products at any time.

3. Orders

Orders are considered confirmed once:

  • payment is received, and
  • confirmation is sent to you

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in case of:

  • stock or production limitations
  • pricing errors
  • other unforeseen circumstances

4. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are listed in GEL
  • Payment is accepted via bank transfer only

Orders are processed only after full payment is received.

5. Delivery

We offer the following delivery options within Tbilisi:

5.1 Local Pickup

  • Free pickup at an agreed time and location

5.2 Customer-Arranged Courier

  • You may arrange your own courier
  • All risks transfer to you once the order is handed over to the courier

5.3 Roastery-Arranged Delivery

  • We arrange delivery via courier
  • Free for orders of 3 or more packs of coffee
  • For smaller orders, delivery cost is calculated separately

Risk remains with us until the order is delivered to you

Delivery times are estimates and depend on courier services.

6. Freshness and Storage

  • Coffee is roasted in small batches and shipped fresh
  • Recommended consumption window: 7–28 days from roast date

Proper storage (sealed, cool, dry environment) is the responsibility of the Buyer.

We are not responsible for quality degradation after delivery due to storage conditions or handling.

7. Returns and Replacements

We stand behind our product and want you to have a good experience.

Due to the perishable nature of coffee:

  • opened products are generally non-returnable

However, if you are not satisfied:

  • please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order
  • we may offer a replacement or other resolution at our discretion

Minor variations in taste between batches are natural and do not constitute a defect.

Abuse Protection

We aim to be fair and flexible, but:

  • we reserve the right to refuse replacements or refunds in cases of repeated or abusive claims
  • especially where product quality is consistent with specification and roast profile

8. Wholesale

For wholesale customers:

  • pricing, volumes, and payment terms are agreed separately
  • these Terms apply unless otherwise specified in writing

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • our liability is limited to the value of the purchased goods
  • we are not liable for indirect losses

We are not responsible for differences in taste, brewing results, or expectations related to subjective perception of coffee.

10. Intellectual Property

All branding, product descriptions, and website content are the property of the Seller and may not be used without permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
